Wellness Starts Here

Book a Free 15 Minute Intro Consult Today!

Our initial consultation is a 75 minute medical intake.

This visit includes a thorough review of your chief concerns and pertinent medical history.

After the first visit, we determine what the best course of treatment is for you, and this may involve further testing to identify the root cause of your symptoms.

Follow-up visits are 30-60 minutes.

I treat the root cause of your symptoms. This involves obtaining a thorough health history, performing physical exams, and often laboratory testing. Treatments include herbal and botanical medicine, nutrition counseling, homeopathy, and physical medicine. Naturopathic medicine is preventative medicine, so we start with more gentle modalities first. I treat the root cause of your symptoms. Whenever possible, I offer safe alternatives to pharmaceuticals with minimal side effects.

Balance hormones

Are you suffering from fatigue, brain fog, weight gain, hot flashes, heart palpitations, hair loss, heavy menstrual bleeding, or loss of libido? These symptoms are all indications of hormonal imbalance, such as menopause, thyroid or adrenal dysfunction. I can provide you with safe and effective therapies for addressing hormonal imbalances so you can feel in control of your life again and not let your hormones dictate your quality of life.

Improve mood

Are you suffering from depression or anxiety? Are you seeking alternatives to psychiatric medication, or have you already tried medications and still do not feel like yourself? I can help you using a combination of nutrition and lifestyle recommendations, homeopathic medicine, botanical medicine, and neurofeedback. Neurofeedback is a brain hack that enables you to develop more control over your state of mind and stop those negative thoughts in their tracks. How it works: electrode leads will be placed on specific sites on the surface of your scalp to measure the activity of your brain, and the device will bring your brainwaves back into balance through low voltage microcurrent.

Manage pain

Pain can hinder us from being our best selves and fulfilling our highest potential. Maybe you are suffering from migraines, joint pain, or a chronic disease such as an autoimmune condition, cancer, or diabetes. I address the root cause of your pain and recommend safe and effective therapies. In most cases, I can offer you an alternative to pharmaceutical interventions. Therapies offered may include herbal medicine, PRP injection treatments for knee and shoulder pain, trigger point injections, and craniosacral therapy.

Combat fatigue

If you feel like you lack the energy and motivation that you once had, you may be suffering from an underlying nutritional deficiency, hormonal imbalance, or chronic infection. I will help you find out what that underlying cause is and provide targeted natural treatments such as nutrients and herbs so that you can attain that sense of vitality again.

Ayurvedic Medicine

Ayurveda is an ancient system of medicine that originated in India thousands of years ago. Through focusing on restoring balance to weakened systems, it is effective for treating a wide range of conditions, including digestive disturbance, stress and fatigue. Ayurveda focuses on the concept of doshas, or individual constitution, which shows that no two people are alike. Through the lens of Ayurvedic doshas, I will give you an individualized treatment plan to correct imbalances of mind, body, and spirit.

What is PRP?

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy involves injecting your own platelets into specific areas of pain to stimulate natural growth and repair functions in your body. The injection is prepared by drawing a sample of your own blood, spinning it in a centrifuge to separate contents, and extracting the platelets so that they can be administered directly to places where there is pain due to wear and tear, such as the knee or shoulder. Platelets are involved in the natural wound healing process. Similarly to how they form a scab over a wound, they allow for the repair of damaged structures.

PRP is well-indicated for:

Knee pain (meniscus injury, ligament injury - ACL, MCL, LCL, PCL)

Shoulder pain (adhesive capsulitis, rotator cuff tear, labral tear, ligament injury)

Arm pain (tennis or golfer's elbow)

Ankle strain (Achilles tendon rupture, ligament injury)

Foot pain (plantar fasciitis)

Low back pain (SI joint dysfunction, sciatica)

How frequent are follow-up appointments?

Depending on your needs and health concerns, follow-up appointments can be anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months apart. For complex chronic concerns, the initial few months of care require a more frequent commitment. After the first few months, the hope is that you will need less frequent appointments and only need to come in for “tune-ups”.

Are services covered under insurance?

Price Naturopathic accepts HSA and FSA as forms of payment, and bills insurance for labwork. I do not bill insurance for consults and procedures, but provide a superbill on request that you can send to your insurance company for reimbursement. Some insurance carriers cover “out-of-network” providers.

What can I expect to pay for labwork?

Labs can be partially to fully covered by your insurance. Cash-pay discounts are available. Price Naturopathic accepts PPO, HMO Plans, and MediCal for blood labs, and co-pay varies depending on your insurance policy. I work with many different lab companies to provide the best options based on your individual needs.
